Using SAVI has helped me see that artificial intelligence in education should not be about allowing technology to replace the teacher. Its real value is in helping the teacher work more effectively. SAVI can assist with curriculum planning, lesson preparation, learning resources, assessment ideas and professional organisation, but the teacher still reviews the work, understands the learners, makes professional decisions and leads the actual teaching. This balance is very important to me. When AI is used responsibly, it can reduce repetitive work and provide useful ideas while giving teachers more time to think creatively, support learners and improve instruction. My experience with SAVI has therefore changed how I think about educational AI. I now see AI not simply as a tool for generating content, but as a tool that can strengthen teacher preparation and professional practice when it is used thoughtfully. I believe this is the direction educational technology should take, upporting teachers, strengthening teaching and ultimately improving learning.

My experience with SAVI has shown me that good lesson preparation should go beyond writing what the teacher will say. SAVI encourages me to think about what learners will actually do during the lesson. It helps me consider practical activities, teaching and learning resources, questions, assessment evidence and ways of supporting learners who may need additional help. Because of this, my preparation becomes more learner-centred. When the lesson structure is clear before teaching begins, classroom delivery also becomes easier. I know what activity should come next, what evidence I am looking for and where learners may need support. This has helped me see lesson preparation not merely as a document required from a teacher, but as a professional plan for creating a meaningful learning experience. That is one of the things I value most about SAVI.

One of the greatest benefits I have experienced with SAVI is the amount of preparation time it can save when used properly. Teachers have many responsibilities beyond writing lesson notes. We have learners to support, work to assess, records to maintain, classroom challenges to manage and professional responsibilities to fulfil. Spending several hours repeatedly preparing similar documents can reduce the time available for the learners themselves. SAVI helps reduce that burden. I can prepare a structured lesson, develop supporting learner notes, create a worksheet or assessment, and produce teaching resources from the same instructional idea. This allows me to spend more of my time thinking about learner difficulties, differentiation, practical activities and how I can improve the actual lesson. For me, the greatest value of SAVI is not simply that it makes preparation faster. It helps redirect valuable teacher time toward what matters most, helping learners learn well.

One of the difficulties teachers sometimes face is moving from the curriculum document to a practical lesson that learners can understand and enjoy. SAVI has made this process much easier for me. With features such as Scheme of Work, curriculum-aligned lesson preparation, worksheets, learner notes, assessments and teaching visuals, I can begin with the curriculum and gradually develop everything I need for actual classroom teaching. What makes this useful is the connection between the different stages of preparation. I do not have to treat my Scheme of Work, lesson note and assessment as completely separate tasks. They can support one another. This has helped me become more organised and intentional in my teaching. It gives me a clearer picture of where I am going before I enter the classroom. SAVI is helping bridge the gap between curriculum planning and practical classroom delivery.

Before using SAVI, lesson preparation often required a lot of time because I had to organise the curriculum, lesson objectives, teaching activities, learner activities, assessment and teaching resources separately. SAVI has helped me bring all these parts together in one organised workflow. What I appreciate most is that SAVI does not only help me generate a lesson note. It helps me think through the entire teaching process—from what learners should understand, to the practical activities they can perform, the resources I may need, and how I can assess whether learning has actually taken place. I now approach lesson preparation with greater confidence and clarity. Instead of spending most of my energy formatting documents, I can focus more on improving the quality of teaching and thinking about how learners will experience the lesson. For me, SAVI has become more than an AI tool. It is gradually becoming a professional teaching assistant that supports planning, preparation and effective classroom delivery.
